About the Role

We are seeking a confident, creative, and professional Senior UI/UX Designer to support our product design projects on a freelance, project-based basis.

The ideal candidate has strong visual design skills, understands user-centered design principles, and can create simple, engaging, and child-friendly digital experiences. Because this role may involve direct communication with clients, excellent spoken and written English is essential.

Responsibilities

• Create user-friendly interfaces for AI-powered web and mobile applications.
• Develop wireframes, user flows, mockups, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs.
• Design accessible and engaging experiences for children, parents, and families.
• Maintain visual consistency across products and design assets.
• Collaborate with product managers, developers, clients, and other team members.
• Communicate directly with clients to understand their needs and present design concepts.
• Explain design decisions clearly and professionally.
• Revise designs based on feedback and project requirements.
• Deliver completed design files within agreed deadlines.

Qualifications

• Professional experience in UI/UX or product design.
• A strong portfolio demonstrating web or mobile application design.
• Proficiency with Figma or similar design and prototyping tools.
• Strong understanding of responsive design, usability, accessibility, and design systems.
• Excellent spoken and written English, with native-level proficiency preferred.
• Strong familiarity with American English and professional U.S. business communication.
• Confidence communicating directly with clients through meetings, email, and messaging platforms.
• Excellent organization and time-management skills.
• Ability to work independently and meet project deadlines.
• Experience designing products for children, families, education, healthcare, or AI applications is preferred.

Compensation and Growth Opportunities

This role offers a fixed hourly rate of $10, plus commission-based earnings equal to 30% of the applicable project value.

The project scope, estimated working hours, deliverables, commission calculation, and payment terms will be agreed upon before each project begins.

Designers who consistently deliver high-quality work, communicate professionally with clients, and collaborate effectively may receive additional projects or be considered for other suitable opportunities within the company.
