About the role
We are looking for a talented Data Scientist to analyze complex datasets, uncover meaningful insights, and help drive data-informed business decisions. The ideal candidate is highly analytical, comfortable working with large volumes of data, and skilled in building predictive models and data-driven solutions.
Responsibilities
- Collect, clean, and analyze large datasets from multiple sources.
- Identify trends, patterns, and actionable insights to support business strategy.
- Build and evaluate predictive models and machine learning algorithms.
- Perform statistical analysis and hypothesis testing to solve business problems.
- Develop dashboards, reports, and visualizations to communicate findings clearly.
- Work closely with product, engineering, and business teams to define analytical needs.
- Automate data collection and preprocessing workflows when possible.
- Stay current with the latest techniques in data science, machine learning, and analytics.
Required skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Engineering, or a related field.
- Strong proficiency in Python, SQL, and/or R.
- Solid understanding of statistics, probability, and machine learning concepts.
- Experience with data cleaning, feature engineering, and model evaluation.
- Familiarity with data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or similar.
- Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking skills.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present technical findings to non-technical stakeholders.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working with big data tools or cloud platforms.
- Knowledge of A/B testing, experimentation, and causal inference.
- Familiarity with databases, ETL pipelines, and data engineering workflows.
- Experience deploying models into production environments.
- Advanced degree in Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related discipline.
