About the role

Role Overview

We are hiring reliable and detail-oriented Data Entry Specialists to support a web application review and data entry project.

In this role, you will review assigned web applications based on provided instructions, identify issues, and write clear error notes in our platform. This position does not require coding or software development experience. However, you must be able to carefully inspect web applications, follow instructions accurately, and explain issues clearly.

We highly prefer applicants who can work as a team and manage multiple members responsibly.

Key Responsibilities

  • Review assigned web applications based on provided instructions.
  • Check whether each web application loads, works properly, and follows the required instructions.
  • Identify issues such as broken buttons, missing features, loading problems, incorrect behavior, UI issues, or unclear functionality.
  • Write clear and detailed error notes in our platform.
  • Explain what went wrong, where the issue happened, and how it affected the user experience.
  • Carefully inspect every assigned task before submission.
  • Submit all assigned tasks before the daily deadline.
  • Communicate actively and respond quickly through the required communication channel.
  • Follow project guidelines and maintain consistent work quality.

Task Type

This is a remote, task-based role that combines:

  • Data entry
  • Web application review
  • Error note writing
  • Quality checking

Compensation

  • Pay per task: $0.30
  • Expected tasks per day: 30–50 tasks, depending on availability, quality, and task volume
  • Payment schedule: Weekly

Payment Structure

  • 30% payment will be paid after the tasks are passed in the first testing by our team.
  • 70% payment will be paid after the tasks are passed in the final testing.

Daily Submission Deadline

All assigned tasks must be submitted by 7:00 AM GMT+0 each day.

Members who fail to submit their assigned tasks by the daily deadline will receive one warning. Receiving three warnings will result in removal from this position.

Quality Requirement

All members must responsibly inspect every assigned task before submission.

Each member is expected to maintain an inspection pass rate of at least 80%. If a member’s inspection pass rate falls below 80% three or more times, they will be removed from this position.

Performance Benefits

Members who maintain an inspection pass rate of at least 90% for two consecutive weeks may be considered for:

  • Increased pay
  • A higher number of assigned tasks
  • Priority access to future work opportunities

Communication

All project communication will be handled through Zulip.org.

Fast responsiveness is required. Members must respond to project messages within one hour at most during working hours or active task periods.

  • Strong attention to detail

  • Basic ability to use web browsers and review online web applications
  • Ability to write clear and specific error notes
  • Reliable daily availability
  • Ability to meet strict deadlines
  • Fast responsiveness and responsible communication
  • Ability to work independently or as part of a team

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous experience with data entry, QA review, web application testing, annotation work, or online task-based projects
  • Experience identifying UI issues, broken buttons, loading problems, missing features, or incorrect web application behavior
  • Experience managing or working within a team
  • Comfortable using online communication and task management platforms

Team Preference

Teams are highly preferred for this position. Applicants who can provide a reliable team, manage task distribution, maintain quality control, and ensure fast communication will receive priority consideration.
